A Church-Wide Celebration
We will have hot dogs with tons, drinks, sides, and desserts. The main event is a kickball game! While this is a church wide event, this is a youth group function and we will be together to kick-off an amazing summer for Highland Youth Group.
Families of our youth are invited for a great evening with a ton of fun and food!
June 14th, 10-2, Jordan Lake End of School Celebration
We are meeting at Highland UMC and taking the bus to Jordan Lake.
We are going to have an awesome day out at Jordan Lake. We will play in the lake and on the beach, relax, have games going on, and tons of fun things to do. Lunch will be provided!
June 19th - 23rd (8:45-12:15) at Highland UMC
Would you be willing to help with Vacation Bible School? We rely on our youth volunteers to help VBS go smoothly. It is a fun week of games, stories, and snappy tunes! Youth volunteers will be needed from 8:40-12:15 each---which translates to almost 25 service hours.

City Servants - June 26-June 30 (Monday - Friday), 8:30- 3:30
City Servants is a week-long summer ministry for our middle schoolers where we work within our community to make a difference. We spend the first half of the day working and doing service on various projects and the last half of the day playing games, going on outings, and more. After a long week of work we spend all day Friday at Wet’ n Wild Water Park!
July 9-14- Highland Service Project
Highland Service Project (HSP) our high school mission trip. With 30 plus years of tradition and a passion to serve, our high schoolers and adult leaders head to the Wilmington Area to work with WARM (Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry). We do construction, repairs, painting, siding, flooring, and anything else to make a difference. We spend the entire week at the Matthew House on the sound in Wrightsville serving, worshiping, and having a blast with friends!
July 26, from 6~8, at Highland
Movie Night at Highland. We will have popcorn and drinks. We will show a movie that the youth pick! Bring a friend for a fun evening
July 30th Sunday Morning
Our Youth and HSP Band will be leading worship this Sunday morning with a potluck lunch to follow the service!
August 9th, from 12-2, meeting at Tree Runner Adventure Park

We will meet at Tree Runner Adventure Park! This is a ropes course for anyone. If you are an expert and not afraid of heights, this is for you. If you are completely new at ropes courses and/or timid about heights, THIS IS ALSO FOR YOU. It is going to be a fun day together.
