Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network
We are hosting homeless families the week of May 20 to May 27. You can be an overnight host, serve a meal with your SS class, volunteer to play with the kids, or drive the van to transport families. For more information or to sign-up, please contact David Dix by e-mail.

Through June 27, Highland is collecting a variety of over-the-counter medications for Alliance Medical Mission and its ministry to the uninsured working poor.
Feeding the hungry, growing food and friendships. Join us Saturday mornings starting at 8 AM as we work together, learn about gardening, and grow food for our community.

The 35,000 meals HUMC packed on March 31 were shipped this month to school children in Haiti. Thanks to all of you, 35,000 children will not go to bed hungry.

Circle #1 The Mother-Daughter Banquette will replace the regular May meeting. Meetings will resume in September.

Circle #2/3 will meet Monday, May 7th, at 10:00 am in the Parlor. This will be the last regularly scheduled meeting until next fall.

Circle #7 will meet at 6:00 pm Monday, May 7th, at Buffaloes’ Cafe, 7504 Creedmoor Road (Stonehenge Shopping Center) for dinner and at 7:00 pm at the home of Sharon Lee. Jim Lee will present our program. The mission is the NC Food Bank.

Circle #8 will meet at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 8, in room 209. We will continue our studies from prior months.
