Welcome to Highland United Methodist Church! The people of Highland are excited about the ministry and the work that the Lord is calling us to do. There is a place here for you! We invite you to review our web site and the various opportunities for service to others and for individual spiritual growth.
Please take some time to look at our music ministry. We have graded choirs and several adult choirs. In addition, we offer several instrumental opportunities.
I believe our children’s ministries are excellent and there is something engaging year-round for all ages. Highland also has a Children’s Center which has both pre-school and after school programs that truly meets the needs of the family. Our youth continue to be challenged and encouraged by a strong student ministry.
Our church staff is here to assist, lead and equip the Highland church family and those who are visiting to do the work of the Lord. Highland has been on the corner of Ridge Road and Lake Boone Trail for over fifty years. We are grateful to those who have gone before us. Our church would not be here today without the care and attention given by our predecessors. We are thankful to God for His steadfast love. With the demands placed upon us in the 21st century, this church can continue to be a place of rest, hope, and guidance.
May we all draw closer to God through Jesus Christ, learn of His love and share that love with others. Here at Highland we take seriously John Wesley’s general rules of the church: “do not harm, do all the good you can, and love God more”.
