Feeding the hungry, growing food and friendships. Believe it or not, the garden is getting started up again already! Come be a part of this exciting and expanding ministry.
Wow! We are off running in the garden. We had a great workday Sat., we cleaned up, pulled up, dug up and planted carrots and some snow peas. Circle 1 turned 2.5 beds and planted two types of sugar snap peas. We'll have more of the same this Sat. starting at 8 AM - come when you can. Lettuce is going in too!
We had a great crowd last Sat. - let's make it even bigger this week. Lessons on everything will be taught and people will be assigned a veg. to research and coordinate planting - Cool!
Final plans for the Harry Thompson Concert volunteers will be made Sat. PLEASE plan on coming to the concert and bring your friends. Be sure to let the Garden Commitee know if you can help out for the concert.
We are now up to 50 gardens because of your hard work!!
